Jora and her sword
All my heroes are unique, everybody has a purpose and everybody has a special build, and so my warrior heroes are unique too. Goren's choice was made fast, he was so dumb he could only be an ERFSHAKURRRRR. Koss, he is really a cool guy so when i got a celestial axe drop i knew that was for him, i gave him a typical WE axe, he is just the guy to be an Axe Master.
But Jora, I know you like swords but swords are so noob. I tried everything with her but all she wants is a sword. So back to the drawing table for me, i designed a few builds but they were all inferior by far to her warrior friends, Koss and Goren. Hundred blades wasnt any good, and Sun and Moon slash took far too long to charge. Primal Rage sword never worked out any good.
But then, when i saw a bird fly i knew it, Crippling slash is going to be her elite. And when i saw the birdguy roll i knew, i just knew her build. Quickly going to my guild hall I bought the skills at the Priest of Balthazar i needed. It was going to be a real good creation. Behold, Jora's Crippling Slash Build!
Tell me, have i failed or have i finally made swords useful?

Yeah, but this isn't bad either.
Isn't this what talon runs in EOTN? Or close to it? Either way it will work.

It's pretty weak in terms of DPS,100B is a safer option and doesn't rely on conditions.

Is there anybody who can post this on PvX?
And the difference between this and talon is that talon has Shields up and healing signet instead of flail/enraging

Uhm, why not a different elite like dragon slash/quivering blade? (This is not a suggestion, it's a question, I'm a noob at war heroes).

A shame you can't get another signet in there, like Signet of Strength or something to add extra damage to Symbolic Strike.

I'm not sure how heroes use Enraging Charge (for just IMS or for the IMS and the adrenal buff), but if they don't use it for the adrenal buff, you can drop it out for antidote signet (self condition removal) or signet of strength (more damage) to buff up Symbolic.

Could drop something for Antidote Sig if you're running into blind-heavy areas.

Crippling slash synergies with gash, cripple+bleed+DW is awesome, conditional daze sucks and mediocre damage is even worse

Youre probably not loading the image?
OQITEXKjN6wCwwwgvCAYS8SUAAA
is the current build, with the optional slot for Enraging Charge, Signet of Strength or Antidote Signet.

Swords were already useful. This build, however, is not.
Cripslash is junk in PvE. Bleeding is worthless. Single-target crippled is worthless. Offensively, monsters don't kite, and few monsters flee. Defensively, too many monsters close to melee range at one time for a single-target cripple to matter.
Gash is passable. However, given that you're already paying the price of coordinating conditions, Body Blow is superior (team with curse necro).
Savage Slash is OK only because the hero AI is good at interrupting.
Flail is OK only because heroes can't be trusted with Frenzy.
Enraging Charge. OK.
Symbolic Strike is poo. You have to spend at least 3 slots on signets before it's worth thinking about, and there just aren't that many worthwhile signets to bring.
Poison Tip Signet is flaming poo. You spend a second casting instead of attacking to get what? Weak single-target degen. It's garbage.
Rez Sig. No. If you want rez, go W/Rt for FoMF or DPS.
Overall rating 2/10.
Hint for future build development: Don't base builds off of henchmen. They are deliberately designed to be very suboptimal to give you an incentive to team with other players.

Youre assuming that npc's die within a few seconds and that they dont kite, this might be the case in old ascalon NM but not in EotN HM. Symbolic strike can be buffed by another signet which you can sub for enraging charge (like Signet of Strength although i admit that recharge sucks, or antidote signet)

^ AoE is always better than single target damage in PvE....unless you only play NM, then it doesn't matter.

In general i agree with Chthon but 2/10 is a bit harsh. For a warrior hero i'd give it more like 5-6/10. At least it can hit DW reliably and make the target easier to keep in melee range. But overall the damage is pretty poor.
I've found setting warrior heroes as W/Mo and using Strength of Honor @ 9 Smiting works nice. I usually run as 14 weapon mastery, 10 strength and 9 smiting on the occasion i actually use them.
Something like:
Cleave [E], Dismember, Executioners Strike, Body Blow, Flail, Enraging Charge, FGJ, SoH
or
Hundred Blades [E], Sun and Moon Slash, Standing Slash, Galrath/Silverwing Slash, Body Blow, Flail, FGJ, SoH
Either seems to tear things up pretty nicely. Just gotta try and take a cover enchant for SoH to use before battle to help stop it getting stripped. An AoE enchantment like Aegis or Dwaynas Sorrow (if using minions) from another hero works nicely. Makes any enchantment stripping less likely to hit SoH.
